Crafted Drinks
At our pub, the drinks are chosen with as much care as the food. Local ales, perfectly kept and full of character, sit alongside crisp coastal whites and rich reds that pair beautifully with hearty dishes. Whether it’s a thoughtfully crafted gin and tonic or a smooth whisky by the fire, every drink is balanced, honest, and rooted in the land and sea around us.
Nothing showy – just drinks that whisper rather than shout, leaving a quiet, lasting impression. The kind that belong effortlessly to the moment.

A Sunday Tradition
The Sunday roast, an age old British tradition, reimagined with a playful nod in our pub. Perfectly roasted meats, spuds with a satisfying crunch, Yorkshires puffed up like proud old hats, and seasonal veg with just the right bite. All bathed in chefs rich, glossy gravy. It’s a meal that feels like a hug from history, comforting, familiar, tasty, but done with just enough finesse to keep things interesting. A proper Sunday, done right.

Outside Space
The outdoor cozy courtyard is simple, unfussy, and quietly beautiful. Wooden tables catch the afternoon sun, with local aromas brushing the air with scent. You can hear the soft clink of glasses, the hum of conversation, maybe the faint cry of a gull or blackbird overhead. It’s the kind of spot where a pint of local ale or a crisp glass of white feels just right, and where food tastes better simply because you’re outside, with time to spare and nothing to prove, just watch for the rain.

Woolpack Speakeasy
The Woolpack Speakeasy at The Prince Rupert in Newark is just upstairs, a bit like finding a secret lounge behind a clever disguise. It’s cosy, with exposed beams and just enough Prohibition-style charm. Perfect for about 80 guests, and equipped for both seated dinners or standing events. The cocktails are bespoke, the acoustics thoughtfully done, ideal if you’re after an intimate evening that’s more atmospheric than a standard back-room booking or just pop along to the hottest spot in town.
